Animes where the main character mysteriously goes to another world (or simply dies) have always been popular. She is always the focus as she is the only different person in the other world, and "stereotype" emerges with a lot of girl side characters. But Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Things are going a little differently (Konosuba for short). Konosuba almost makes fun of these clichés. Everything in anime is pure, pure and 99% absurd comedy. The simplest example of this may be the transition of our main character to a different world. Our main character, Satou Kazuma, dies while trying to prevent the tractor from colliding with someone. Unfortunately, Kazuma died not because of the crash but because of the shock of the fear he experienced. After this event, strangeness will never leave him.
Konosuba, which looks quite innocent from the outside, is actually not as innocent as you think. Each of the characters you see above is crazier than the other. But that's what makes them beautiful. I mentioned how absurd the anime is. The best example I can give of this situation would be Kazuma's encounter with the goddess Aqua after he died, and this so-called "goddess" Aqua is mocking the way Kazuma died. Angered by this situation, the flood of laughter begins when Kazuma chooses Aqua to take revenge on a gift bestowed by the goddesses in his reincarnated state (he can take any one thing he wants with him while respawning in a different world).
While the duo, which was roasted in their own little lives, are now roasted in their own fat by doing "adventure", Megumin and an Arch Wizard and Crusader named Darkness join their small party. Thus, the team of evidence is completed.
While watching the anime, it is impossible not to admire the way the characters are handled. Each of the characters is so mind-blowing with their own states, attitudes and movements that after a while, you may think that there are four main characters. Regardless of how absurd the events are, the reactions of our characters to events, their reactions and the solutions they find for problems can really put people into a fit of laughter. There weren't many comedy animes that I watched with laughter for a long time. But I can say that Konosuba has filled this place on its own.
Although it contains cliché scenes, Konosuba is one of the rare anime of its kind, using such scenes for his own benefit and making fun of it until the end. Even in the most serious action scenes, you have the opportunity to see some nonsense. If you are going to watch Konosuba, which consists of 2 seasons and 22 episodes in total, in anticipation of serious events, you are likely to be disappointed. But as I mentioned above, if you just want to laugh and witness the absurdity, I definitely recommend you to watch Konosuba.
